Men to Men: Mobilizing Leaders for Safer Communities

Powered by The Carrie Meek Foundation with support from the U.S. Department of Justice, Office on Violence Against Women.

Building a Miami-Dade County where men and boys are actively engaged as responsible leaders and advocates in preventing domestic violence, dating violence, and sexual violence.

What is Men to Men?

Men to Men (M2M) is a community-rooted leadership initiative designed to engage men and boys as positive leaders, mentors, and advocates for safer and healthier communities throughout South Dade.

The initiative focuses on:

  • Preventing violence
  • Promoting healthy masculinity
  • Strengthening mentorship
  • Creating stronger support systems for youth and families
The program is built on the belief that meaningful change happens when men are equipped to lead conversations around respect, accountability, emotional wellness, and community responsibility.

Our Engagement Model

Men to Men mobilizes participants through a tiered engagement model that allows individuals to participate as Leaders, Connectors, or Ambassadors, based on their age, readiness, interests, and level of training.

Our Healthy Masculinity curriculum is approachable and adaptable for a variety of settings, including schools, athletic teams, faith-based organizations, and civic groups.

How Can You Get Involved?

Our Goals

  • Build stronger, prevention-focused community networks that promote safety, respect, and healthy relationships

Help us improve the lives of residents in Miami-Dade County and the larger South Florida community.
